Q: How do I redeem an eMusic download card?

A: To redeem your download card, go the web site address printed on the back of the card. Then, enter the code on the back of the download card or on your receipt, as well as your e-mail address and a password. This will create an eMusic account which you can use to begin downloading immediately.

Q: How long do I have to redeem my download card?

A: eMusic download cards are valid for one year from the date that the card was purchased. This means that you must redeem the code on your download card within one year of purchase. Once you have successfully redeemed the code on eMusic, you can view the expiration date by logging in and going to "Your Account." You will see the date that your downloads expire on the right hand side of the page. Also note that your card says how many days you have to use the downloads once they are registered.

Q: Can I add the songs on my download card to my existing eMusic account?

A: Songs on a download card may not be added to your existing eMusic account. You must create a new account in order to redeem the downloads on your card. You will need to use a different e-mail address than the one associated with your eMusic account. If you do not have an alternate address, you can obtain a free one at Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail.

Q: What happens if I run out of downloads but I would like to continue downloading?
